proud to introduce Cappellificio Cervo!

Cappellificio Cervo is located in Sagliano Micca, Italy; a small village at the foot of the Alps. A crystal-clear mountain river, the Cervo, runs through the factory, supplying it with water for processing as well as hydroelectric power. The water is particularly pure and exceptionally soft, perfect for producing felt and wool.

The Roll Up:

Luxuriously Practical...

This Classico Fur Felt Fedora in Adriatico has an unbelievably soft hand and deep color saturation. The coloration procedure at Cervo takes months from creating the dye, hand dying, to curing and drying. After the hats are colored, they are placed in a temperature-controlled, humidified room for several months. The felts continue to cure, the fibers tighten and soften to their final tension. When selected for production, the felts are carefully sanded by hand to create the perfect finish. Artisans diligently work the felt, both inside and out, until the hat is of desired softness and smoothness. This Classico Fedora is a perfect example of this craftmanship.

Cappellificio Cervo Cooperative Hat makers began production in 1897
